YMR Global (Young Ministers’ Retreat) is an international retreat for all believers with the mandate of raising a burning generation. YMR attracts believers from various nations of the world. Hundreds of thousands across the cities in Nigeria gather physically with hunger and thirst to encounter the raw fire of God and the life-changing power of His presence.
It is a retreat where believers are prepared and equipped as end-time witnesses of God’s supernatural power and the gospel of Jesus to the nations and every sphere of human influence. At YMR, the participants are encouraged to fast for the period of the retreat, pray for long hours with prayer walks, study God’s word, worship, evangelize in neighboring communities, listen to life-transforming sermons, and many other life-changing experiences.
Supernatural miracles, signs, and wonders are a major highlight of YMR because the Lord moves in amazing ways at YMR with many sick healed, oppressed delivered, and supernatural encounters. We have recorded over 3000 mind-blowing testimonies over the years.

In May 2018, while in Dubai with his wife, P. Daniel received a divine vision that marked the beginning of YMR. In a trance, he saw many people—like giants—emerging from a fire, burning with intensity but never consumed. In that moment, God spoke: “I have called you to raise and lead the burning generation. This is the purpose of YMR.” YMR is likened to Heaven’s Defence Academy (HDA), a spiritual training ground akin to the Nigerian Defence Academy, where God recruits and equips His end-time soldiers for His purpose.
YMR was born out of a deep passion for seeking God’s face at the end of each year, culminating in empowerment for kingdom dominance. It serves as a mountain of revival for young ministers who are enthusiastic about witnessing the kingdom of God invade the world across all spheres. YMR started in 2017 with over 700 participants from more than 24 denominations. Since then, the retreat has witnessed tremendous growth. In 2020, YMR hosted over 19,000 people onsite and reached over 2 million virtually from various countries and denominations.
Daniel Olawande, fondly called P.Daniel, is a polymath with a mandate to raise the burning generation by setting people on fire for God in all spheres of influence. He is an ordained minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and serves as the Assistant National Coordinator of CRM (the Students and Corpers Ministry of RCCG), with the mandate of stirring Revival among the students and corpers across the campuses.
Additionally, he is a Youth Evangelist in RCCG, serving as the Coordinator of RCCG Youth Evangelists. Daniel Olawande is the lead pastor of RCCG The Envoys, Lagos – a new young people expression of RCCG.
